Submitting more than one Funds Request at the same time
How to use parallel Funds Requests when you have multiple transactions
You can have more than one Funds Request running at the same time. This is called submitting Funds Requests in parallel. It is useful when you have several business transactions happening close together.
How it works
As long as you have enough available limit, you can submit a new Funds Request even if you have not yet repaid the previous one. Each Funds Request is treated separately, with its own period and its own repayment schedule.
Example
Imagine you are approved for KES 500,000. You submit a Funds Request for KES 200,000 to buy stock from one supplier. A week later, another opportunity comes up and you need KES 150,000 from a different supplier. Because you still have KES 300,000 of unused limit, you can submit a second Funds Request for KES 150,000 right away.
What you should keep in mind
Each Funds Request has its own repayment schedule
You need to track each one separately
Your total drawn amount cannot go above your approved limit
When one Funds Request is repaid, that part of your limit becomes available again
When this is most useful
Parallel Funds Requests are very useful for suppliers and stockists who have several transactions running at once. Instead of bundling everything into one big request, you can match each Funds Request to a specific deal, with its own period and its own repayment date.
