This senior leadership role owns end-to-end ASF ecosystem development—from partner origination and supplier activation to throughput performance, operational discipline, and national expansion. The officer drives commercial strategy, governance, team capability, and cross-functional coordination to grow the ASF revenue line sustainably.
Responsibilities
● Design and execute Avenews’ ASF ecosystem strategy across value chains.
● Originate high-value partnerships (processors, offtakers, distributors, institutional buyers).
● Build partner validation frameworks and oversee rapid commercialization.
● Lead supplier onboarding, education, activation, and repeat cycle growth.
● Own ASF throughput performance: monthly disbursements, partner usage, repeat cycles.
● Develop national forecasts, value-chain penetration plans, and expansion roadmaps.
● Strengthen validation discipline, invoice controls, and portfolio governance.
● Coordinate with BD, Sales, Credit, Ops, and Product for ecosystem execution.
● Lead the ASF team, including onboarding, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
● Maintain compliance with CBK and support audit readiness.
Requirements
● Degree in Agribusiness, Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
● 7+ years’ experience in agri-value chains, trade finance, partnerships, or supply chain finance.
● Proven track record originating and scaling B2B commercial partnerships.
● Strong understanding of invoice financing, supplier-buyer dynamics, and trade cycles.
● Experience leading teams and large-scale ecosystem initiatives.
● Highly analytical with strong forecasting, segmentation, and performance tracking ability.
