Digital Growth Manager

We are looking for a hands-on, analytical Digital Growth Manager to build and scale Avenews’ digital acquisition engine. This is our first in-house digital growth hire, ideal for a versatile mid-level marketer who is ready to take ownership and grow into a more senior position over time.
You will focus solely on digital-originating leads, managing digital channels end-to-end, optimizing the digital application experience in collaboration with Product, and building a high-performing digital acquisition foundation for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition & Channel Ownership
● Own and scale all digital acquisition channels: Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, SEO, WhatsApp, and emerging platforms.
● Plan, execute, and optimize full-funnel campaigns aimed at attracting high-quality agri-SME audiences.
● Continuously test targeting, messaging, creatives, and audiences.
Digital Application Funnel Optimization
● Optimize the digital application funnel collaboratively with the Product team
● Identify funnel gaps, recommend improvements, and support Product with data-driven insights.
Experimentation & Digital Growth Hacking
● Run structured A/B and multivariate experiments across channels, funnels, and messages.
● Develop fast tests and micro-experiments using simple landing pages, lightweight tools, or micro-assets.
● Explore unconventional or niche digital opportunities (WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, directories, industry-specific online hubs).
Analytics, Tracking & Measurement
● Manage all tracking, attribution, and measurement tools, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Zoho Analytics, PostHog, Meta Pixel, Conversion APIs, and UTM frameworks.
● Develop clear dashboards and reporting flows with the RevOps team to measure CPL, CAC, funnel efficiency, and performance by segment or channel.
● Use analytics insights to refine targeting, funnel steps, application flows, and channel allocation.
Organic Digital Growth
● Develop and scale organic acquisition channels: SEO, Local search visibility, Content-led experiments, Community and social group presence (WhatsApp, Facebook groups), Micro-sites and satellite pages
● Identify new organic levers relevant to agri-SMEs.
Budget Management & Forecasting
● Manage the digital growth budget and optimize for efficiency.
● Build channel forecasts, CAC projections, and performance models to support planning.
Who You Are
● 5–8 years of experience in digital growth, performance marketing, or digital acquisition.
● Versatile, curious, and excited to build Avenews’ digital growth engine from scratch.
● Hands-on and skilled at running campaigns end-to-end.
● Strong analytical mindset and confident in using analytics tools to make decisions.
● Experienced in funnel analysis, experimentation, and optimizing digital journeys.
● Ready for the next leap in your career and eager to take on real ownership.
Nice to Have
● Experience in fintech and/or credit products.
● Experience in SME acquisition.
● Experience working with African or emerging markets (Kenya is a strong advantage).
