At Avenews, customer feedback drives every improvement we make.
From what we’ve seen in the field, the challenge for stockists isn’t demand, it’s timing. Stock sells at its own pace, but supplier payments are often fixed.
Following these insights, we’ve introduced updates to Stockist Financing to better match how you buy, sell, and repay.
These enhancements are designed to give you more control over your financing, so you can access funds when you need them, and repay in a way that fits your cash flow.
You stay in control, vile unataka, wakati unataka.
A More Flexible Financing Experience
Stockist Financing allows you to purchase stock from your supplier and choose a repayment period upfront that fits your sales cycle.
With this update, the process remains simple, but now better aligned to how your biashara actually runs.
What’s New
Choose a repayment plan that fits your trade cycle:
Pay once — clear everything within 7–30 days
Split in 2 — repay in two parts across 30 & 60 days
Split in 3 — spread repayments across 30, 60 & 90 days
Repay when it works for you. If your stock sells quickly, you don’t have to wait, you can repay earlier and reduce your cost
Delivery confirmation inside your request
Once stock imefika, you confirm delivery directly in your request.
No need to upload separate delivery notes or go back and forth with paperwork.
One invoice per request
Each request is linked to one invoice, making it easier to track, manage, and stay clear on each transaction.
What’s Improved
The request process has been simplified to make it faster and easier to complete:

As Always
You only pay for the financing you use
Once you repay, your available limit is restored for your next request
Financing Terms
What’s New
For single-installment financing, you can now choose your repayment day between 7 and 30 days.
This gives you flexibility to align repayment with your sales cycle, and reduce costs if you repay earlier.
Important to Note
The daily markup rate remains the same. Gharama iko wazi, hakuna mabadiliko ya bei.
Closing
These updates are part of Avenews’ ongoing commitment to make financing more practical and better aligned to how agribusinesses operate.
Stockist Financing is designed to support how you already trade, helping you stock, sell, and repay with more control and less pressure.
