Avenews officially launched its partnership in Kisii with Enochem Agrovet Limited, bringing together agrovets and media to introduce this new opportunity to Enochem’s stockist network.

The event wasn’t just a launch. It was a conversation about real challenges agrovets face and how we can solve them together.

Why This Partnership Matters

Many agrovets face the same challenge every season.

Farmers need inputs urgently, but stockists often have their cash tied up in existing inventory, making it difficult to restock quickly. At the same time, distributors cannot always extend unlimited credit.

Stockist Financing helps bridge this gap.

With this model, Avenews pays the distributor directly, allowing stockists to receive inputs immediately and repay later in line with their sales cycle.

“We work closely with agrovets across the region, and one thing is clear — demand is there, but access to working capital is what limits growth. This partnership is about unlocking that potential and helping stockists serve farmers when it matters most,” Emmanuel Murai, Business Development Director, Avenews.

This means agrovets can restock faster, serve more farmers, and grow their businesses without cash flow pressure.

From the distributor’s perspective, the partnership also ensures smoother operations and stronger relationships with stockists.

“Our stockists are at the heart of our business. When they can stock consistently, it strengthens the entire supply chain. Working with Avenews allows us to support them without putting pressure on our own cash flow,” Enochem, Enock Asuga, General Manager

And with the planting season here with us, the message is simple: Msimu ni sasa. Stock mapema.
