Paying off your Agri Supplier Financing Express early
Get back 100% of the unbuilt markup when you repay early
Agri Supplier Financing Express has one of the best early repayment rewards available. If you settle the financing early, you get back 100% of the markup that has not yet built up.
How the reward works
When you repay early, you only pay the markup for the days the money was actually with you. Any markup that has not yet built up at the time of repayment is fully waived.
Worked example
Say you drew KES 850,000 for 30 days, with a total expected markup of KES 58,650. If you repay on day 20 instead of day 30:
Markup that has built up over 20 days: KES 39,100
Markup that has not yet built up for the remaining 10 days: KES 19,550
Reward: 100% of the unbuilt markup, which is KES 19,550
You pay only the markup for the 20 days the money was with you, which is KES 39,100
Total early repayment: KES 889,100 (KES 850,000 plus KES 39,100)
Why this is useful
If your buyer pays you earlier than expected, or if your business cycle finishes early, you can repay and stop paying markup right away. This makes Agri Supplier Financing Express very cost-efficient when used well.
