The Sales Officer is the face of Avenews in the field—responsible for generating leads, onboarding customers, driving applications, and commercializing Avenews’ partner ecosystems. This role ensures a strong market presence, customer engagement, and pipeline growth across the full sales cycle.
Responsibilities
● Acquire new customers through structured field visits and product presentations.
● Convert leads into complete, compliant loan applications.
● Activate and commercialize partner networks: agro-dealers, distributors, cooperatives, aggregators, etc.
● Guide customers in preparing accurate documentation and reduce application errors.
● Execute field ambassador duties during activations, trainings, and market engagements.
● Track and report pipeline performance, conversion rates, and market insights.
● Support loan activation and repeat usage initiatives in collaboration with operations teams
Requirements
● Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related field.
● 1–3 years of field sales experience in fintech, microfinance, FMCG, or agribusiness.
● Strong documentation and customer engagement skills.
● Ability to work with CRMs and digital tools.
● Willingness to travel extensively and be in the field daily.
